The Eurasian Poker Tour celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Over the last decade, the EAPT has spread its reach across Eurasia, from Kyiv to the Caribbean islands and back to nearby Kazakhstan. The 2023-2024 season marks an era of change with new tour stops, a re-launched website, and much more to come.
This year's EAPT schedule has confirmed stops in the Czech Republic, Spain, and Italy, all with recreational-friendly €560 buy-in Main Events. The EAPT plans to run qualifiers, both online and live, for many of the events on the calendar. EAPT's partnership with Luxon Pay allows players to use the service for tournament buy-ins, cashes, and commission-free transfers.
Tournaments will play out over the course of several days, both before and during weekends, to be as recreational-friendly as possible. Away from the tables, players can explore beautiful tourist attractions in the locations of each stop.
Each festival, for the most part, follows a simple blueprint. The basic schedule features key tournaments and their satellites, and two to three side events. An example:
- Days 1-3: €250 EAPT Cup and satellites to High Roller
- Days 3-4: €1,100 EAPT High Roller, €560 Main Event Day 1s and satellites
- Days 5-6: Main Event concludes, closing tournaments
In addition, players can expect a robust cash game experience at each stop. The EAPT management team is ready to organize games of all kinds. No Limit Hold 'Em, Pot Limit Omaha, and other variants are all on offer.
The EAPT Grand Final is set for April of 2024, featuring a $2,750 buy-in. The luxurious Merit Diamond Resort in North Cyprus will play host.
