iDenfy’s facial recognition application has been recognized by ISO

Artificial intelligence (AI) companies are gaining territory, always thriving in offering services that can be taken to many industries. A company that provides an identity verification solution to the gaming industry, iDenfy, is getting even more attention due to a new certification that was recently granted. Its facial recognition service has achieved the ISO 27001 Certification published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). These organizations grant accreditation only to companies that meet their high standards for information security.

The company is still a startup, but it has been maturing at a fast pace. What it offers is an automated remote identity authentication service in the B2B marketplace. This AI startup that was founded in Lithuania keeps getting international recognition, and the ISO 27001 certification is an important proof for that. It offers a service that can be taken globally, which protects businesses and customers alike.

This granted certification is not a must for operating, but it is still a great achievement regarding quality and compliance to high standards. “We believe every startup should strive for the highest industry standards. Our customers and users should expect it, too, and be granted the assurance that their information will remain secure,” iDenfy CEO, Domantas Ciulde, explains. “The ISO-27001 certification shows the world that we take our work very seriously.”

iDenfy already gives support to more than 200 countries supporting 1300 different types of identity documents. Among their current customers, there are Expobank, IPF Digital, and Vialet, just to name a few. The company has already caught the attention of important media companies that have featured its products, such as 15Min. It, LRT Television, and DELFI.
