DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar are being investigated for alleged armed robbery in Florida

An event that took place during a party in South Florida last Wednesday night ended up with two NFL players getting arrest warrants. New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar were both accused by witnesses at a party of conducting armed robbery, according to the authorities. Both players are facing charges for armed robbery with a firearm; Baker also faces four more counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.

Both players surrendered to the authorities to face the felony charges, and they were both released from Broward County Jail on Sunday, just one day after their arrests. Baker, 22, attended a virtual hearing via Zoom with Broward Circuit Judge Michael Davis in which Baker posted a $200,000 bond. After the incident, which took place during a cookout in Miramar, Baker was charged with four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.

Dunbar, 27, on the other hand, posted a $100,000 bond for four counts of armed robbery. Apparently, both football players, along with the other two men, began robbing people of thousands of dollars in cash and other valuables during the party. According to the defendant’s attorney, there are witnesses who can clear them of the accusations.

According to the police report, the four men stormed out in three different vehicles: a Mercedes Benz, a Lamborghini and a BMW. Based on the way the cars were parked, it looked like they were positioned so they could go away quickly, so detectives believe that this robbery was previously planned by the suspects.
