Accusations of cheating and abuse are forcing changes to the popular eSports game

For a while now, there have been several critiques coming from the community of Rainbow Six Siege game created by the developer Ubisoft. Several gamers have raised concerns regarding things like cheating, system abuse and some game features that have also been criticized. In an effort to have more open communication with the users, the Rainbow Six Siege team at Ubisoft will take some time to answer questions about the most important aspects of the game that have been questioned by players.

Based on statement released by the R6 team, the team said that a full status report will soon be made public. This event followed up Ubisoft’s announcement about its upcoming plans for the R6 eSports scene, which also comes with changes in the structure and format of the European League. “We are preparing to release a Status Report to give some insight into a large number of priority topics that are important to the community,” the R6 team said. “We hear you and see your passion and love for Siege. Your feedback is and always has been critical to us — we all want Siege to be the best it can be.”

In addition to this message from the developers, and based on recently released designer notes, it is clear that R6 is seeking to actively communicate with players. Some fans believe that this report will include information about the ongoing issues that have been long reported by the community. Most likely, the post will also address the movement called #SaveSiege, which started with a two-hour video created by G2 Esports titled “Everything Wrong with Rainbow Six Siege.”
