The online poker tournament space continues to award hundreds of thousands of dollars

The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Super Circuit started along with the month of May and it’s bringing a total of 18 rings to be distributed among the tournament winners. Event #3 Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500,000 GTD has wrapped up, and crowned a winner from Taiwan, Justin “PetitFoxx” Zhu. He conquered a field of 3,669 entries and took home a cash prize of $47,528 plus another $28,425 he got from the bounties for a total of $75,954.

This tournament took off at 2 PM EST with a strong turnout. The guaranteed prize pool was surpassed by the buy-ins collected from all entries, capping it out at $733,800. The registration period closed, and, in just a matter of four hours, the bubble was popped, and the first player in the money was defined. The final table came a couple of hours later.

Accompanying Zhu at the final table was “Brtz,” “ArchieAndrews,” “ArtjnDuer” and “GOMEZOFESP0!R,” who made it to the top five. Most of the action during the final table was held by the three last players standing, who battled for around one hour. ArchieAndrews was the one who had the lead in the early part of the tournament until Zhu came up with pocket queens and a flush. His efforts granted ArchieAndrews the third place after being boosted by Zhu, taking a prize of $25,849 (plus $9,767.79 in bounties).

The final heads-up against Brtz was exciting as Zhu started with a huge lead in his stack, and Brtz was able to take down the leader and even the stack up. They played for around 25 more minutes and Zhu crushed his opponent with a great hand that gave him most of his stack back, just to finish Brtz a couple of hands later.
