PokerStars has announced the return of its Galactic Series for online players in France, Spain, and Portugal.
On November 2, the Galactic Series kicks off its three-week run of cosmically-themed poker tournaments with €7M guaranteed across the slate and a chance to win Gold and Silver Power Passes in team competitions led by PokerStars Ambassadors.
The 23-day series runs through to November 24 with a €350,000 GTD Main Event on November 16 serving as the highlight of the schedule. With buy-ins ranging from €10 to €250, there are plenty of chances for players of all bankroll sizes to get in on the action. Alongside the Main Event, the following events stand as the highlights of the Galactic Series:
- €100 Sunday Special Galactic Edition, €125,000 GTD (Nov 2, 20:00 CET)
- €50 Spicy 50, €150,000 GTD (Nov 9, 20:00 CET)
- €250 High Roller PKO, €100,000 GTD (Nov 9, 21:00 CET)
Galactic battle for Gold and Silver Passes
During the Galactic Series, you can complete missions for the chance to win a share of more than €125,000 in added value – including Gold and Silver Passes.
In order to compete for these prizes, you must opt-in to the battle by choosing a team and then earning leaderboard points by completing side missions. French players can choose between Benny, Yu, or JBZZ while Spanish players will throw in for either Willo, Alex Romero, or Estiwinho. In Portugal, players can pick from Team A with Ricardo Sousa, Joao Tomas, and Vasco Freitas or Team B with Tiago Ferreira, Ruben Lopes, and Hugo Machado.
Each team will have a weekly freeroll on the schedule, but only the team with the most points will be able to partake. For team members on the winning side, the more side missions you complete, the larger your starting stack in the freeroll. These freerolls will award one Silver Pass to the winner each week and the final freeroll will award a Gold Pass.
The Silver Pass Freerolls will run on the following dates:
- November 10 at 20:00 CET
- November 17 at 20:00 CET
- November 24 at 20:00 CET
The Gold Pass Freeroll will run on November 26 at 20:00 CET.
