PokerStar's Bounty Builder Week returns this month for players in Southern Europe and Italy. From May 7th to 14th, in addition to the usual tournament schedule, players can take part in exciting new Progressive Knockout (PKO) tournaments.
For players in France, Spain, and Portugal, an enhanced schedule of PKO tournaments is on offer, with over €1 million in guaranteed prize pools. The opening Sunday sees the €100,000 guaranteed 8-Max Sunday Major headline the schedule. The feature tournament, the Main Event, kicks off on the final day of competition. With €200,000 guaranteed, the Main Event is the perfect chance for players to prove their PKO prowess and win their share of the prize money.
In Italy, the normal tournament schedule will also be supplemented with a number of PKO events. Players can compete for their share of the €750,000 in guaranteed prize money.
PokerStars US launches Ballers and Brawlers
PokerStars players in the US are being treated this month to a brand new tournament series: Ballers and Brawlers. The action kicks off on May 12th and PokerStars will guarantee $2.5 million across the Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania player pools, with a combined Main Event prize pool of $250,000.
Ballers and Brawlers brings the familiar Low, Medium, and High tier events to the ten-day festival of No Limit Hold 'Em and Mixed Games events. The schedule features progressive knockout tournaments, along with prestigious high roller events, at varying price points so all players can get in on the action. Opening weekend gets started with the $100,000 Baller Special and Brawler Mini Special ($40,000 GTD).
PokerStars US favorites "The Nightly Benjamin" and "The Jackson Jab" will receive a Baller and Brawlers makeover as part of the enhanced schedule. The
