Several gaming conferences will be held online after the success of previous versions

Event organizer SBC Gaming has finalized to put together its autumn 2020 conference and exhibition calendar by adding two more conferences as part of its already popular Digital Summit series. The current lineup will see the addition of two new regional showpieces that will focus on the African market and the CIS region, and which will take place in October and November, respectively. At the same time, SBC has decided to change the format of two of its already popular sports betting conference in response to the coronavirus pandemic; the Betting on Sports Europe and Betting on Sports America will now move to the virtual space.

This fall will be busy for the gambling event organizer, with SBC Digital Summit Barcelona to take place on September 8-11, SBC Digital Summit Africa on October 6-7, Betting on Sports Europe – Digital also in October but on 21-22, SBC Digital Summit CIS for November 4-5 and, finally, Betting on Sports America – Digital, which was scheduled for December 1-3.

This switch that SBC has made to its events are in response to the airs of uncertainty that are still falling on international travel, as well as the potential risk that could represent running large-scale in-person events like the ones run by SBC, which attract a lot of people of the industry as one of the most popular events. This series of virtual conferences and exhibitions hosted by the events market leader has continued to evolve and adapt since it was launched back in April; at least 15,000 executives have engaged in these virtual events.

Most of the events will have the same format, using SBC’s advanced online platform, which offers a high-level of content, interactive exhibition and networking roundtables that have already proven successful. The African and CIS new summits will focus on exploring new opportunities and unique challenges in these two regions that are already attracting strong interest from the international gaming and betting industry.
