The coronavirus is still forcing some gaming events to move online

Another live gambling conference organized by SBC Events will make a transition to online grounds. The SBC Summit Barcelona announced for September will be featuring on the list of the conferences that are running digitally this year. From September 8 to 11, the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital will bring the gambling industry together virtually amid the coronavirus pandemic. Even if restrictions established across the world are beginning to be lifted, traveling might not be an immediate priority for people, so the best decision for the organizer was to switch the event format.

SBC Events has decided to run this year’s conference online to allow the exhibitors, speakers and delegates enough time to plan ahead in the middle of an uncertain situation. “SBC Events has pushed back the boundaries for what is possible for virtual exhibition and conferences in the gambling sector, which is why we feel confident that moving the Barcelona event into an online environment will be welcomed by the industry,” explained SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark.

SBC Events as an experienced gambling conference and exhibition organizer is hosting the betting and gaming industry’s largest virtual trade event so far, which includes participants from industry sectors located worldwide. This will be a four-day digital event that will feature the latest products and solutions available to the industry, several high-level speakers in the conference and attractive networking opportunities in the digital scene.

SBC Chief Operating Officer David Knight added, “SBC has rightly gained a reputation for providing high-quality discussions and unmatched networking events, and have also proven ourselves to be a leader in providing digital exhibitions during the COVID-19 outbreak. The SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital will combine these attributes to deliver a must-attend gathering for the gambling industry.” More than 100 exhibitors and eight conferences will be seen across the four days of the event, focusing on diverse topics like safer gambling, leaders, new markets and more.
