The upcoming conference switches gears in response to the coronavirus pandemic
As the industry adapts to the new normality created by the coronavirus pandemic, event organizer SBC Gaming has announced that the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital 2020 will be a free-to-attend event. This year’s edition of the Global Betting & Gaming Show will take place virtually from September 8-11, and promises to be the most comprehensive digital event yet to be seen in the industry. Anyone will be able to access this event that covers every significant sector of the gambling industry, including talks from top senior executive speakers – from six continents – with experience in major markets.
In announcing the change, SBC CEO and founder Rasmus Sojmark explained, “As an events organiser, we have experienced just how disruptive the pandemic and the lockdown have been for businesses, but I’m delighted to say that we’ve had great support from our partners and customers throughout this period.” He added, “Making SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital 2020 free to attend is our way of giving something back and demonstrating our support for the industry.
We want to make sure that everyone in our industry will be included in crucial discussions about its future, and that professionals who have been laid-off or furloughed have the opportunity to make new connections and stay up to date with the latest developments.”
In addition to this update, the digital summit offers an interactive exhibition in which the latest technologies and trends in the sportsbook, casino, gaming and payments sectors are being showcased. With everything that is being offered, SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital becomes a relevant event to share, and listen to, ideas that can revolutionize the industry for both consolidated and new markets. Also, this conference offers networking opportunities for professionals in the industry to connect with other peers and have business talks, as well as taking a look at the next generation of products that are emerging to serve the gambling industry.
