Simultaneous online festivals running June 12-28 on PokerStars NJ, PA, MI
SCOOP mania ran full circle across all PokerStars platforms this spring. The annual Spring Championship of Online Poker played out in its usual April slot on the PokerStars main international site, followed by state-specific versions of the SCOOP in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey for U.S. players.
The next chapter for U.S.-facing major online poker festivals takes place simultaneously across all PokerStars USA networks this month.
The Summer Stacks series plays out June 12-28, with PokerStars New Jersey, PokerStars Michigan, and PokerStars Pennsylvania each running their own versions of the series. Each Summer Stacks festival hosts 100 different tournaments, and each presents its own Main Event.
The June series marks the debut of the Summer Stacks festival on PokerStars USA. You must be located within one of the states hosting the festival to play, as per gaming laws in all three states.

Trio of Main Events highlights Summer Series festivals
All three Summer Series present almost identical schedules, with the New Jersey version of the festival offering less guaranteed prize money versus its Michigan and Pennsylvania counterparts.
All three series kickoff this Saturday, June 12, with the first seven of 100 tournaments getting started for each state.
The Summer Stacks series for both PokerStars Pennsylvania and Michigan sees two big tournaments on this weekend’s schedule. Event #2: $100 Summer Stacks Kickoff guarantees $30,000 (Saturday), while Event #10: $100 Sunday Special offers $60,000 in guaranteed prize money and begins on Sunday.
The New Jersey Summer Stacks festival goes big on the first weekend with Event #2: $100 Summer Stacks kickoff (Saturday), guaranteeing $12,000. Sunday highlights for the PokerStars NJ festival include Event #11: $100 8-Max Sunday Special, which promises at least $25,000 in prize money.
All three series run their respective Main Events on Sunday, June 27. The trio of tournaments all come with a $100 buy-in, with the Pennsylvania and Michigan Main Events guaranteeing $100,000. The New Jersey Summer Stacks Main Event guarantees $50,000.
Each Main Event plays as a two-day tournament, with Day 1 action concluding on June 27. All remaining players in each tournament will come back to compete for the Main Event title in their respective states on Monday, June 28.
Buy-ins for each state’s Summer Stacks series range from $5 to $100. PokerStars USA networks don’t share player pools, so only players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan can compete in the Summer Stacks festival.
You don’t have to live in one of those states to play, but you must be located within the borders of one of those states to play in that state’s online Summer Stacks series.
