The event is in its inaugural year and is already making a splash

The awaited Red Bull Mobile Esports Open has finally started, and it’s running for the first time. Singapore has chosen the ever-popular PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile for this event. Actually, the overall player base for this and other games has increased in the last couple of months, so organizers are wondering if players have gotten any better now that there is increased playtime, too. The good news for the rest of the players is that the national qualifiers are open to everyone, and they will take place online on July 18-19 with the finals scheduled for July 25.

The path to follow is not that simple; there are some basic requirements for participation. First, all gamers need to be 18 or older in order to be allowed to register. All participants can try their luck just once at the country’s qualifiers; any second tries need to take place in International Online Qualifiers. Finally, all competitors are required to have valid travel documents in order to be eligible. This last requirement is perfectly understandable since the winners will be flying to Turkey to participate in the World Finals next year. So, it is important to make sure that, if you win the chance to play abroad, it doesn’t get ruined by administrative issues.

This is another great opportunity for PUBG fans who want to enter into the competitive scene. Besides fulfilling the requirements, all players must register at Red Bull’s website where they can sign up for one of the two Singapore qualifiers, Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2, respectively.
