Triton Poker, Protocol Sports Marketing enter new distribution deal

Daniel Negreanu to be a big part of the Triton Poker High Roller Series

The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series has a new official distributor, the Protocol Sports Marketing agency, thanks to a newly-signed exclusive online agreement with the event organizer, Triton Poker. These series were initially launched back in 2016 with the one final main event taking place in London. These finals have an industry record-setting buy-in of $1.25 million, with a total prize pool of $23 million. It is also the best-televised production ever set up in a poker competition, according to Triton.

Under this new deal, Protocol Sports will be marketing the recent production of the Triton Super High Roller Series London, which are shows often hours long. Another interesting feature is that one of the best poker players in the world, Daniel ‘Kid Poker’ Negreanu, will showcasing comments during this seven-day tournament series. With the boom of streaming platforms and increased preference for Internet entertainment, Protocol added that it is beginning to have conversations with several platforms all across the globe to look for exclusive licensees for the upcoming Triton Super High Roller Series events.

“Our relationship with Triton Poker Series represents a new chapter for Protocol,” Protocol Sports Marketing president Lowell Conn said. “Protocol’s goals are Triton’s goals. We will help Triton to build on its plans to host the biggest and most successful poker tournaments that the world has ever seen while sharing Triton’s values of sustainability and charity.”

Last October, Protocol Sports signed its latest contract, which came from the International Floorball Federation.
That sports entity appointed the company as the exclusive worldwide media rights distributors as well as a sponsorship agency.
