Several high-profile members of the gaming community will appear at the virtual conference at the end of this month
During these times in which people must stay at home to help flatten the curve of new coronavirus infections, it’s a chance for digital conferences to take place successfully and shine. This year’s SBC Digital Summit is just around the corner and, besides the high-level speaker roster that will be attending already, a collection of US industry experts is set to make this digital conference even more appealing. The event organization just announced a new list of industry experts that will be engrossing the list of high-level participants, and they will be joining the Betting on Sports America track on Thursday, April 30.
Lining up for the fourth day of the world’s largest virtual conference and tradeshow for the gaming industry are Jan Jones Blackhurst (Board Member, Caesars Entertainment and former Las Vegas Mayor), Adam Greenblatt (CEO, Roar Digital) and Jonodev O. Chaudhuri (Partner, Quarles & Brady LLP & Former Chairman, National Indian Gaming Commission). This year’s agenda will cover a lot of topics, but there is one main topic that is a pressing matter. This conference will be focused on how the global industry is facing the business crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
This fourth day will have four different sessions that will focus on specific topics. The morning will start with an Update on state legislative efforts in 2020, followed up by a session of M&A and investing in sports betting companies. Later in the afternoon, the next session will discuss the current tribal gaming landscape, and, to give the day proper closure, the last session will address alternatives for sports betting when traditional sports are shut down. Also, the BOSA track will be undertaking an in-depth examination of the state of play in the US market.
