With the PCA and PSPC set to kick off in less than a week, one well-known name just booked her ticket to the island paradise.
Vanessa Kade announced on Twitter that she’ll be heading down to The Bahamas after getting her hands on a coveted Platinum Pass from PokerStars.
No stranger to success in large Multi-Table Tournaments, Kade won the PokerStars Sunday Million 15th Anniversary back in 2021 for over $1.5 million. Now, the Canadian professional will be battling in the $25,000 buy-in PSPC Main Event.
Her fans will be rooting for her, especially because she’s giving a portion of her profits away. “I’m giving 1% of any profits to 5 people (5% total)…and 5% to the [British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals].
Her Twitter bio might tag her as a “professional chip re-distributor,” but we know better. We’ll see you in The Bahamas, Vanessa. As for your plants at home, we wish them rungood. They’ll need it.
