The World Poker Tour (WPT) has reached a distribution deal with Fubo Sports Network. that will significantly expand viewers' ability to view historic WPT footage from much of the tour's storied past. Fubo, which is a "sports first" live TV streaming platform, will make a large chunk of the WPT's broadcast history available to viewers in the U.S. and Canada via virtually any smart device.

According to an announcement from the WPT, Fubo Sports Network will feature recent WPT tournaments, defined as including "over 10 seasons" of WPT action from stops including Las Vegas, Paris, Barcelona, and other WPT destinations.

The deal does not immediately include the WPT's just-started Season XX, though the plan is to bring those episodes to Fubo TV at a later date. “We are eager to crack open the vault of WPT tournament history to share with the poker world,” said the WPT's CEO, Adam Pliska. “We are not stopping there. We will supplement with regular additions of new WPT tournament coverage from Season XX and beyond.”

Exactly which seasons and episodes of the WPT will make their way to the Fubo platform wasn't specified, though Fubo TV's guide listings, in conjunction with NBC Sports Boston, show upcoming episodes from the WPT's Season IX.

WPT broadcasts expand Fubo Sports Network lineup

The World Poker Tour's addition to the Fubo lineup compliments Fubo's lineup of live-sports offerings, including Lights Out Xtreme Fighting, the South American Qatar World Cup 2022 Qualifiers (CONMEBOL), Liga Endesa, and more. The network also offers original programming such as No Chill with Gilbert Arenas and Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. and Hatch.

FuboTV offers its own subscription packages of over 100 sports, news, and entertainment channels, while the Fubo Sports Network is also available for free on LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Vizio Channels, Sports on Tubi, Plex, Hisense Smart TVs, and XUMO.

“We're very excited to present select World Poker Tour matches to Fubo Sports Network audiences," said Fubo Sports Network head Pamela Duckworth. "Partners like the World Poker Tour help make Fubo Sports Network a leading destination for a wide range of sports and gaming content that bring the voice of the athlete to fans on and off the field.
