Purvis claimed his second WSOP ring to his trophy case and added $22,489 to his total career earnings, which already stands over $500k.

The event drew a field of 327 entrants, generating a $107,910 prize pool that paid out the top 50 finishers.

Final ring event of the Commerce WSOP Circuit series

The 18th ring event of the series is set to begin today at 11:00 a.m. local time. Event 18: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack Closer will be the final WSOP Circuit ring event, capping off a 14-day-long series at Commerce Casino.

Here are the structural details for Event 18:

  • $400 buy-in
  • $30,000 guaranteed prize pool
  • 40,000 starting chips
  • 20-minute levels (all)
  • Breaks every four levels
  • Registration closes at the start of Level 13 (~3:35 pm)
