Known to
PokerStars high stakes players and fans as "urnotindangr", and Full Tilt Poker railbirds and nosebleed patron as "URnotINdanger2" (a twist on Di Dang's screen name, "
Urindanger"), Scott Palmer has been shaking things up at the highest limits available in online poker. Palmer's bankroll has incurred dramatic ups and downs since emerging on the scene as a high stakes contender in near-legendary heads up matches against such players as
Gus Hansen and Viktor "Isildur1" Blom.
Home schooled throughout the entirety of his education, Scott Palmer began playing small, live tournaments in early adolescence. His results were promising, winning the first four tournaments he entered. From there, Scott Palmer moved on to low limit cash games.
Eventually, Scott made the transition to online poker. The going was rough at first, busting twice before he ran a $90 deposit up to $15K in the course of two weeks. About 18 months later, Scott Palmer was competing against the biggest names in
online poker at the nosebleed stakes, as "urnotindangr" (PokerStars) and "URnotINdanger2" (Full Tilt Poker).
Scott Palmer lives in Odenton, Maryland. Like many of the young, rising stars of poker, he prefers short-handed 6-max tables, and is drawn to the increasingly popular game of Pot Limit Omaha.
