The Super Circuit Online Series will be held next month

These are good times for poker players who enjoy the online scene to compete, more online poke events are being announced recently. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has come up with another Super Circuit Online Series, and the event is scheduled to run in early May for a three-week period with an exciting offering of events. Unfortunately, US players won't be able to participate, only those countries in which online poker is fully legal. It’s time for US-based poker enthusiasts to start harassing legislators to make sweeping changes to online poker

Just as the WSOP usually does, the details of the event are being released in little by little. On April 15, the organization revealed the initial details of this mega-series in a press release, with WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart extending his regret for all the live events from the WSOP Circuit that were inevitably canceled due to the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic. He also added that he is hopeful that this upcoming online series will be a success and surpasses expectations.

This series will offer a total of 18 WSOP Circuit rings to be distributed among the winners of specific tournaments. The full schedule details are still being finalized and will be revealed soon. One thing that was disclosed is that there is a great additional prize for the winner of the Main Event and the player that finishes first in the leaderboard.

This person will earn an invitation to the $1,000,000 freeroll WSOP Global Casino Championship bracelet event.

Besides the US, there will be other restricted countries that are banned from playing on the online poker site.

Among these are Afghanistan, Angola, Bahrain, Curacao and Cuba, just to name a few.
