BetMGM Poker has announced a special online-poker miniseries to help its players ring in 2024 with a special "knockout" kick. MGM's online poker brand will offer the "New Year's Knockout" series from December 28, 2023, through January 1, 2024, with six events in each of the three US states where BetMGM Poker is available - Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Each of the six events in the three standalone, single-state series is a progressive knockout (PKO) event, including a $5K freeroll on New Year's Eve in each state that's open to all players.
The five other events that have entry fees include four no-limit hold'em events, including the December 28 series opener, with a $300+$20 entry fee and a $12K prize-pool guarantee. The miniseries also includes a progressive-knockout PLO event on December 30, with a $200+$15 entry and a $10K guarantee.
The three series each conclude with a special New Year's Day doubleheader with high- and low-end events. There's a $535-entry PKO NLH high-roller with a $25K guarantee, which is complemented by a special $20.24-entry event, with its own $2,024 prize-pool guarantee.
