The World Series of Poker Circuit is headed back north of the border for the third stop of the year at Playground in Montreal from November 3 through 18. The popular poker room will host 18 rings and a $2.5M (CAD) Main Event with a $2,500 buy-in.

Among the 18 ring events are six other six-figure buy-ins, including an $800K Colossus with three $1,000 starting flights right before the Main Event. Also on the six-figure schedule are a $500K Mini Main, a $200K Mystery Bounty, Progressive Bounties with $125K and $160K guarantees, and a $200K Mystery Bounty to close it out at the end of the series. The $2.5M Main Event will run with three opening flights from November 13–15.

Jacob Hobday's winning moment Jacob Hobday picked up a career high score in September.

Another big field expected

Last time at Playground, Jacob Hobday beat a record-breaking field of 1,978 entries to win the Main Event for $620,000 CAD after he qualified in a $75 satellite on GGPoker. It was the largest turnout for a WSOPC event in history at the Montreal venue.

The total guarantees all add up to over $6M, but added prizes await players at Playground next month. A WSOP Super Main Event Satellite will go off on Sunday, November 16, offering a shot at one of at least four guaranteed $30K (USD) packages for a buy-in of $4,000 (CAD).

The package includes a ticket to the $26K Super Main Event for Day 1A, nine nights at Atlantis, and bubble protection — so you'll still get $26K if you bust out at the bubble. Five milestone satellites will be available for $500 in the weeks leading up to the event, with a total of 24 seats to the $4,000 satellite in play.
