Minnesota muscle, Canadian hat tricks, and the best beards at the WSOP
Today at the WSOP, the North is is rising again. Rich Alsup rode a mighty Minnesota crowd all the way through the Monster Stack for $1.3 million. Get that man a hotdish! Meanwhile, Chris Alcindor finished off Canada’s bracelet hat trick, giving our northern neighbors another reason to be smug and polite at the same time. And we also pause to honor the magnificent beards of the WSOP, poker’s most luxurious non-bracelet event.
