Daily WSOP report: June 8th

Kristen Foxen should be on every late night TV talk show, every morning talk show, and on every media outlet that gives a damn. She's like the Caitlin Clark of poker. Oh, and have you heard of the Japanese Chris Moneymaker? The first guy ever from Japan to win a WSOP bracelet, Naoya Kihara, has already won two bracelets this year. Meanwhile, outside the ballroom, we're learning that even the world's best poker players can get stymied by real life. Just try escaping the Paris parking garage. Your millions won't make it go any faster. And then there’s Ricky Landais, a dude who endured one of the strangest eliminations of the summer with more grace than most of us show when the coffee line moves slow. Bracelets, brake lights, and brutal rulings...just another day under the big, dumb beautiful tent we call the World Series of Poker.
