Online festival guarantees over $1 million across 12 Circuit Ring events

Much like several staples of the live tournament poker economy, the WSOP Circuit Planet Hollywood moves online for the first time later this week.

The WSOP Planet Hollywood Online Circuit Event Series runs Feb. 17-28 on WSOP.com. The online version of the long-running live series opens up the festival to New Jersey players for the first time, as WSOP.com shares player pools between its Nevada and New Jersey sites.

The Planet Hollywood Series offers the opportunity to win WSOP Circuit Rings across 12 different events.

Here’s a peek at what to look forward to from the WSOP Planet Hollywood Online Circuit Event Series, including how to sign up and play at WSOP.com.

Series awards 12 Circuit Rings

Like all editions of WSOP Circuit Events, the Planet Hollywood Online Circuit Event Series awards WSOP Circuit Rings to the winners of each of the 12 festival events.

The series guarantees more than $1 million across the 12 official ring events. Five of those tournaments offer six-figure prize pools.

The biggest of those prize pools comes in Event #12: $525 NLH Main Event. The centerpiece tournament of the Planet Hollywood series kicks off on Feb. 28, and at least $250,000 will be awarded to players finishing in the money.

The $525 Main Event allows up to three re-entries and plays out in an 8-Max format.

The Planet Hollywood Online Circuit Event Series also incorporates A $10k Player of the Month Leaderboard. The top finisher on that list gets an entry into the $250,000 Year End Championship Event, with a WSOP bracelet on the line.
