The PokerStars Network is coming: Following the deal earlier this year that saw the online poker giant partner with FanDuel in the US and Ontario, PokerStars has confirmed that joint networks are its future.
What does this mean? Hopefully, busier lobbies and bigger tourneys. PokerStars will move from a standalone client to the in-house poker offering within brands such as Betfair and PaddyPower in the UK, for example - PokerStars' sister brands under the Flutter Entertainment umbrella.
That should bring more players as the pools from each brand come together on a single network.

Congya Zhang takes the Global Poker Championship: China's Zhang, who enjoyed a deep run in the WSOP Main Event this past summer, has won the $2,200 Global Poker Championship title at the 2026 Mediterranean Poker Party in North Cyprus.
The $300K win doubles her previous career-best high score of $150K, which she picked up for her run to 61st in Las Vegas.

'Slick Ric' wins the WSOP Circuit Main Event in Texas: Eric Chang won the $1,700 buy-in tourney in his home state, emerging victorious after a final day that also saw 2026 WSOP Main Event champion Lucas Jumalon run deep.
The summer champ's run ended in 14th, however, while Chang pushed on for the $433K win. Full story below.
Vanessa Kade just made all 3 WCOOP Women's Event final tables: Sunday saw the Canadian play each buy-in option of this event at PokerStars, making the final 9 in all 3 of them.
She ended up coming 4th in the $22 Medium event and 3rd in the $5.50 Low version, while a win in the $215 High edition brought her $4K and the first WCOOP title of her career.
Patrick Leonard wins another WCOOP: Over on PokerStars the Brit has claimed the 15th World Championship of Online Poker title of his career.
His latest win, in the $530 NLH turbo for $15,428, brings Leonard up to 15 WCOOP titles in total. Only Benny Glaser (16) has more.
