The fight over America's controversial gambling tax rules is back on Capitol Hill: The House Ways and Means Committee will meet on Wednesday to consider the bipartisan ‘FULL HOUSE Act’, which could allow gamblers to once again deduct 100% of their losses against their winnings.

France's Pierre Chevalier wins 2026 WSOP Circuit Paris Main Event for €260K. He topped a field of 1,282 entries, the largest ever for a WSOP Circuit Main Event in Europe. Davidi Kitai finished fifth, with Natasha Mercier ninth.

Jamie Dwan just keeps winning. The Brit added a fourth Championship of Online Poker title with a win in the WCOOP $2,100 PKO Super High Roller.
Fresh off of big wins at the WSOP, the GUKPT, and the EPT, Dwan's summer heater looks to be stretching into the autumn months.
Brazil dominating WSOP Online: 22 bracelets have been awarded to date on GGPoker, and Brazilian players have won five of them, alongside 10 other podium finishes. Russia are second in the bracelet table, with Germany a distant third.
Nilson Sales became the latest Brazilian winner, taking down the $250 Beat the Pros Bounty NLH.
Brazil's success is good news for the country's other players, too, with Brazil currently in line for the top $200K freeroll. Everyone who plays a bracelet event is eligible to participate in their country's freeroll.
GGPoker is staying in the Netherlands for another five years. According to CasinoNieuws, the Dutch Gaming Authority has granted the poker online giant a new license that will see it operating through to 2031.

Phil Hellmuth and Shaun Deeb to play $60K Legends of Poker Tournament: One Day Challenge. The $600 buy-in tournament plays on Thursday, September 24 at 4pm at the Lilac Club Casino Poker Room in Rochester, New Hampshire.
The tournament will benefit two local nonprofit organizations, Thriving Roots Childcare and the Seacoast Educational Endowment of Dover. And it could benefit you, too: knock out either Hellmuth or Deeb and you'll pocket a $500 bounty.
