Alex Foxen is the first player to pass 3,000 points in this year’s @WSOP Player of the Year Standings. Naoya Kihara’s 10th place finish in the $5,000 NL Super Turbo Bounty will move him into 2nd place in the next update . https://t.co/ziNIdgp2xd

Back-to-back for Negreanu? It's the morning after the huge $100K PLO win for Daniel Negreanu, and he's looking to ride the wave in his latest vlog.

It's not just about the Main on July 4:

  • The $5K Super Turbo needed an extra day to finish. 8 players remain with Pete Chen leading the way with a stack of 23.8M – more than double what Najeem Ajez has in second. The restart is set for 2pm.

  • Event #85: $1K NLH got underway at 10am. It's a two-day event with one re-entry, and late reg at the end of level 10 (around 4pm).

  • It's the final day of the $800 Summer Celebration, with 341 players returning from a field of 6,803. There are still a few fantasy players looking for the 68 field bonus (which kicks in when the field is down to 72): Andreas Frohli, Michael Moncek, Josh Arieh, Matthew Beinner and Allan Le.

  • There are 5 left in the $600 Deepstack Championship, and they restart at 11am to play for the bracelet. Adriaan Jacobs is the big chip leader.

  • The $1,500 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot resumes with 19 players at 1pm. Jesse Lonis headlines with the fourth-biggest stack.

Happy fourth! It's Day 1C of the $10K Main Event, but don't expect to see Daniel Negreanu today – he's announced for Day 1D. So far, Main Event numbers are tracking just behind 2025 (which ended with 9,735 players). Day 1C attracted 1,678 players last year. Cards are in the air at 11am.
