Did it slow him down? Not one bit. He just picked up the 13th WCOOP title of his incredible career in the $1K PLO event, for almost $21K.
Astedt is now tied with Patrick Leonard, Joao Vieira and Tobias Leknes on 13 WCOOP wins, just 3 behind all-time leader Benny Glaser.
Where did his name come from? No, not 'Ethan Yau', we're talking about the name 'Rampage'.

Meet the WSOP Super Circuit Canada Main Event final table: The stage is set, with nine players left in the hunt for the ring and the $1,500,000 CAD first prize. Chance Kornuth is second in chips, with UK pro Jack Salter in seventh. The chip leader is Canadian Mayukh Chakraborty, who only has $3,260 in prior tournament winnings.
Aaron Quon bubbled the final table for $120,000 CAD, while Nick Palma finished in 16th for $85,357 CAD. Action starts at 11am local time and is being streamed on the WSOP YouTube channel.

Espen Jorstad wins third WCOOP title: The Norwegian pro – under his Stars alias 'SamSolverel' – beat Finnish player 'realsuhisjii' for $18,890 in bounties and $14,358 in prize money.
'AHTOCb' wins PokerStars Sunday Million 20th Anniversary: The Belarusian player won $176,310 and $79,026 in bounties for a total score of $255,336. Niklas 'Lena900' Astedt finished eighth.
Two new WSOP Super Circuit stops announced. After the success of the Super Circuit Canada (Day 4 of the Main Event is today), the WSOP has announced stops in Rozvadov and the Dominican Republic.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7
Daniel Iachan wins the Maryland State Poker Championship Main Event ($78,112): He made a three-way deal with Justin Arnwine and Aaron Pinson.
WSOP Super Circuit Main Event Day 3 players on dinner break: Canadian Rayan Chamas is leading the remaining 196 players. Will Givens is sixth, while Chance Kornuth and Andy Stacks are also rocking big stacks. Daniel Negreanu is currently on the livestream feature table.
The winner of the biggest Canadian event of all time will get $1,500,000 CAD.

There's still time to qualify for Phase 2 of the PokerStars Sunday Million 20th Anniversary event: Phase 1s are running now, with more at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm BST this afternoon. Phase 2 starts at 8.05pm tonight.
The first two Triton trophies have been decided in Jeju – and both have gone to first-time winners: In Event #1 ($15K NLH), Alex Theologis won his first-ever Triton title, beating Victor Chong heads-up for the trophy and $642,000.
In Event #2 ($20K NLH), Klemens Roiter won his first Triton trophy and $771,000. "I'm still shaking, my entire body," he said afterward. Alejandro Lococo started heads-up as the chip leader but had to settle for second place and $520,000.
The warm-up events come ahead of the main attraction, the $200K Invitational, which starts on Saturday, September 12.
