Lex Veldhuis reflects on WSOP Online: After grinding his first full WSOP Online schedule, Veldhuis penned a deep reflection on the experience and his career as a whole.

Despite finishing the series in a $120,000 hole, Veldhuis looks back on his time at the tables fondly – and he's proud of the effort he put in.

"I loved the grind, the series and being able to participate in it," he wrote. "I played at higher stakes than normal which brought much more competition and pressure."

Norway could be getting legal online poker for the first time. The government has opened a consultation that would allow state-owned Norsk Tipping to offer online cash games and tournaments.

There is a catch though. The proposal puts tight limits on the games, with a $250 cap for tournaments and a $1 maximum big blind in cash games, along with daily and monthly loss limits. The consultation deadline is set for November 29. Find more details on the official government site.

The aim is to move the estimated 100-150K players currently playing on unregulated sites into regulated games.

Could Ontario online poker be set to join international player pools? The Supreme Court will hear arguments on October 7, with a ruling expected much later.

The last ruling was 4-1 in favor of Ontario's proposed international player-pool model, but that decision is being appealed at Canada's highest court. A decision isn't expected until 2027.
