The ninth day of the WSOP Circuit at Harrah’s Cherokee gets underway with the biggest tournament of the entire series, Event #12: $1,700 Main Event, which kicks off Flight A at 11 AM. The Main always draws one of the deepest and toughest fields of the year, and the last time this event ran in April, Zach Fischer navigated a loaded final table to earn $324,135 and the ring. With a $1.5 million guarantee and two starting flights, this is the centerpiece of the series and the event every player has been waiting for.
But along with the Main Event, today also brings the annual celebration of women in poker with the Ladies Event, starting at 10 AM. The atmosphere is always supportive, competitive, and fun, and the $25K guarantee gives someone the chance to walk out with a new piece of gold by day’s end.
