There was an early position open to 1,200 before Jiyuen Tong called from middle position. 

Jeff Trudeau was in the cutoff and put in a three-bet to 4,900. The original raiser folded, but Tong stuck around to see a flop.

The flop landed, and it checked over to Trudeau, who continued for 4,800. Without skipping a beat, Tong ripped it in for about 29,000. He was quickly met with a call.

Tong was at risk with a surprising for just bottom pair. Trudeau tabled for top pair. 

The turn and river only improved Trudeau to trips, and he scooped to send Tong to the rail. Trudeau moved over 100k for the first time on the day.

Donald Pritt

Blinds: 300/500(500) - 95 players registered

Michael Jukich raised to 1,000 from under the gun before it folded to Donald Pritt in middle position, who three-bet to 3,000. It folded back to Jukich, who only took a moment before putting in a four-bet to 10,000. Pritt called, and the flop landed.

Jukich continued for about 7,000 before Pritt put in a big raise to 20,000. Jukich basically snap-jammed, and Pritt quickly called while covering.

Jukich was at risk and well ahead with before Pritt tabled .

The turn was a brick, but the miracle river gave Pritt two pair and the best hand to send Jukich to the rebuy line.

Three levels in the books, and the 74 players registered in the first flight of the Virginia Circuit Main Event have hit their first break of the day.
