Hallaert delivers the double knockout

Blinds: 100k/150k (150k)

Jose Palomares raised to 2.8 million with from the lojack, leaving himself 75k behind. Kenny Hallaert called on the button with a cheeky pair of aces. Action moved to Derek Sudell in the big blind, and he announced he was all in holding

Palomares didn't look excited about this spot but he took his time before sliding his remaining few chips in the middle to call it off. Hallaert snapped, of course, and a potential double knockout was on the table. Sudell looked sick to his stomach after doubling with pocket aces, through queens, not too long ago.

The flop was , and Hallaert left his tablemates almost drawing dead. The turn sealed the deal, and the river was just a formality, sending Palomares and Sudell to the rail just before bagging for Day 7.

  • Kenny Hallert - 35,600,000
  • Derek Sudell - Eliminated
  • Jose Palomares - Eliminated

Merson: down but not out

Another day, another cooler Another day, another cooler

Blinds: 100k/150k (150k)

Sergio Veloso opened to 300k from the lojack with and Greg Merson called from the cutoff with . Sudell was on the button and woke up to two red aces, prompting a three-bet to 1.2 million. Action was back on Veloso who four-bet to 2 million, followed by a five-bet jam from Merson.

Sudell paused briefly before announcing he was all in as well. Veloso quickly mucked.

It was a dream spot for Sudell with , but still a nervous moment being at risk for his stack of around 5,475,000. Merson had him covered with just over 9 millon in his stack to start the hand.

The board ran out and Sudell scooped in a massive pot late on Day 6.

  • Derek Sudell - 13,350,000
  • Greg Merson - 3,600,000

Another AA v KK cooler on the feature

Alen Tenorio was in a dream spot when he moved in with pocket aces against pocket kings for his tournament life.

A heartbreaking king on the flop changed everything, and Tenorio's smile turned to disgust. Once the board was completed and he was officially eliminated, he still cordially gave out handshakes and hugs to his feature-table opponents before walking off the stage.

Alen Tenorio - eliminated in 83rd place for $100K
