Daniel Negreanu loses his cool after a comment made about his wife

Perhaps the pressure of winning one of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelets is putting Kid Poker a little on edge. At the beginning of the WSOP Online Bracelet Series, Daniel Negreanu lost it when he experienced connection problems while playing one of the bracelet tournaments, but everything finished on a good note and even Negreanu himself laugh a little.

However, his last reaction to a comment about his wife made on his daily livestream on YouTube during one of the events led him to send some vulgar comments that included physical threats. The poker pro was later criticized by the poker community.

During the $400 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max event in the WSOP Online Bracelet Series on Friday evening, Kid Poker went off after a commenter insulted his wife, Amanda. He ended up making some physical threats against this commentator, which earned several critiques that followed up on poker Twitter. The comment, which was deleted quickly and hasn’t been shared, was caught by Negreanu, who responded by making the alleged physical threats. "Hey, Tom Estrada, go f**k yourself, you piece of s**t,” he yelled. “Block that c**k motherf*****g piece of s**t. F**k you, f**k you, f**k you in your ass. How about that? Okay, Tom Estrada, f**k you in your ass. Eat some of that, you piece of s**t. Come f******g step to me and say that and I will knock you the f**k out. How about that?" said Negreanu.

Criticism was all over the place after this latest incident, with some known Negreanu haters and other pro players making comments on what happened. For instance, Shaun Deeb, who has never been fond of Negreanu, hoped Twitch would do something about his behavior since WSOP won’t, most likely, do anything. Doug Polk and Jamie Kerstetter also made some sarcastic comments, referring to Kid Poker’s homophobic and violent actions.
