The third of fifteen bracelet events at the 2023 World Series of Poker Europe to reach completion has found Hong Kong's Hokyiu Lee becoming just his country's fifth player to capture WSOP bracelet gold.

Lee, who claims to play mostly cash games, switched over to the tourney tables in Event #4, €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha, which ended late Wednesday night. The Event #4 €2K PLO tourney started after the still-running Event #3 "Mini Main" NLH event began, which is still in progress.

Lee's victory over the 206-entry field was worth €91,183 and allowed him to join Yan Shing "Anson" Tsang, Danny Tang, Lok Ming Chan, and Ka Kwan Lau as bracelet winners from Hong Kong. Tsang, the three-time bracelet winner who is also Hong Kong's only multiple-bracelet winner to date, cheered on Lee from the rail as Lee closed in on the win.

Lee overtakes Dario Alioto late in final-table action

The see-saw nature of PLO was evident in this event's finale as Lee came from behind during three-handed play to secure the win. He pushed past both Italy's Dario Alioto and South Korea's Gab Yong Kim, leaving Alioto to collect second-place money of €56,358, while Kim received €38,800 for third.

The event also saw original Hendon Mob star and two-time bracelet winner Barny Boatman come up short in his own bid for a third career bracelet. Boatman finished fifth, earning €19,785.

This event's 206 total entries came from 113 unique players, who also contributed 93 rebuys to what became a €362,045 prize pool with payouts going to the top 31 finishers. The final-table finishers in 2023 WSOP Europe Event #4, €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha, were as follows:
