The World Poker Tour has announced the full schedule for its 2026 WPT World Championship festival, which runs four days longer this year, from November 27-December 21.
The showpiece is the $10,400 World Championship, which runs from December 13-20 with three Day 1 flights. An additional $1 million will be awarded in mystery bounties.
Schuyler Thornton won the 2025 WPT World Championship for $2,258,856 and a $10.4K seat in this year's event.
There are two other headliners. The $1,100 WPT Prime Championship runs December 5-12 with a $5 million guarantee – the same as 2025. There's no week-long delay for the final table this year.
There's also a $400 Super Gold Million event that runs December 10-14, with a $3 million guarantee.
The 2026 schedule leans into mixed games again, with HORSE, TORSE, Limit Omaha 8, Big O, PLO, PLO 6-Max and Mixed Triple Draw events.
Bigger, longer and more affordable
The longer schedule boasts over 85 events, with $20 million in total guarantees. The two-day Ladies Championship has a $250K guarantee.
High rollers might be heading to WSOP Paradise, but there are some bigger buy-in events later on in the schedule, with $10,500 NLH and PLO events, a $5K Seniors High Roller, and a $25K NLH High Roller.
The emphasis is on mid-stakes events, though, with plenty of $600-$1,600 events running throughout the schedule.
That provides a stark contrast with the 2026 WSOP Paradise festival, which has 20 bracelet events and only one event below a $5K buy-in. The biggest buy-in at Paradise is the $250K WSOP Invitational.
