It’s no secret that tournament poker players like big guaranteed prizepools. It’s the reason the WSOP slapped a record-breaking $60M guarantee on the Super Main Event last December — a figure they eventually outstripped by 20%.
And now GGPoker — owner of the WSOP — is looking to set even more records with the news that its upcoming GG World Festival will offer the biggest ever series guarantee in online poker history.
$300,000,000 is a lot of money. How much? In $100 bills it would weigh around the same as an SUV, and forget about filling a briefcase, you’d need multiple shipping crates to carry them home. It would take Amazon’s Jeff Bezos more than a day to earn.
For players at GGPoker, they’ll have five weeks to grab as much of it as they can; the action runs from May 3 to June 9.

‘The biggest thing to ever happen in online poker’
Of course, that $300M won’t be going to one person, or up for grabs in one tourney. Hundreds of events are scheduled, at buy-in levels that don’t need ‘Bezos money’ to play.
Four levels of buy-ins have been defined, with leaderboards running throughout the series for each.
- The Low Tier (buy-ins from $3-$25) will award an extra $300K in leaderboard prizes.
- The Medium Tier ($26-$150) has an extra $700K for the top performers.
- The High Tier ($151-$1,050) has $1M in extra prizes.
- The Super Tier ($1,051+) has another $1M in giveaways.
The record-breaking $300M guarantee is an increase on last year’s already eye-watering figure of $250M.
“Last year we set the bar at $250 million, and the community response was legendary,” said GG ambassador Daniel Negreanu, in announcing the 2026 series. “This year, we’re going to $300 million. Whether you’re playing a $3 Low Tier tournament or the $10K GGMillion$ Main Event, you’re part of the biggest thing to ever happen in online poker.”
Three separate events with $10M GTD
The GGMillion$ Main Event Negreanu mentions is one of three flagship tournaments that each guarantee at least $10 million in prize money.
Each is a two-day event, with buy-ins at $525, $1,500 and $10,000, and they’re scheduled a week apart so those looking to play for a share of a minimum of $30M can play all three.
Here are the details:
- The $525 World Bounty Festival will feature mystery bounty prizes worth life-changing amounts, and begins on May 18.
- The $10,000 GGMillion$ Main Event is expected to draw many of the very best players in the world, kicking off from May 25.
- The $1,500 GG World Championship will crown the series’ ultimate champion, running from June 1.
