With the Irish Open and the World Series of Poker Europe both kicking off in the next few weeks, it could be argued that the center of the poker world is briefly shifting across the Atlantic for a spell.
And while those two major festivals will be taking place on the live felt, there’s something special in story for online players in Southern Europe too.
PokerStars’ Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) has been confirmed for March 29 to April 21, and will be awarding at least €8 million in prize money.
Mystery Bounty event features a €1 million guarantee
Available to players in France, Spain and Portugal, this version of SCOOP follows on from the conclusion of the international series — due to end March 25 — and will feature 268 different events.
Buy-ins will range from €10 to €250 and, as always, a wide spread of different formats and variants is expected. Unike the international version of SCOOP, each event will not be available at three different price points, though tournaments for all bankrolls will run throughout each day of the festival.
Highlights include:
- A €250 Mystery Bounty edition of the Sunday Million on March 29, with €1M GTD
- The €100 Main Event Mystery with €400K GTD, April 19
- €250 Championship events on April 5, 12 and 19, with 100K GTD
Satellites will be running from just €0.50.
You can find the full tournament schedule in the PokerStars client in participating regions.
In the meantime, the international edition of SCOOP has just a week to run, and if you entered our Pick 3 for SCOOP 2026 contest (available to players across the world) you could win a free trip to the Irish Open.
