The Asian Poker Tour is pulling out all the stops for its most ambitious festival yet, which means a slick new upgrade for its award-winning championship trophies.
They're gearing up for the APT Championship, its largest-ever poker series with over 200 events and more than $8.7 million in guarantees. It all goes down in Taipei starting on November 14.
24K Gold Lion guards $5M guarantee
Among those 200-plus tournaments are 20 Championship Events, each with their own trademark Lion Trophy waiting at the end. The previous set, which won the 2023 GPI Award for Best Trophy, is scaling up in a big way for the event.
The stakes are highest in the $5M APTC Main Event, where the winner will take home the upgraded 24K Gold Lion. Meanwhile, winners of the $25,000 Super High Roller and the $15,000 High Roller will earn the Rose Gold Lion, while the other 17 Championship Events will hand out the Pewter Lion.
