The flagship tournament on ACR Poker — The Venom — runs regularly throughout the year, alternating between standard and progressive knockout formats.
This summer, ACR Poker is bringing the heat with the introduction of two new variations of its keystone tournament: a Mystery Bounty Venom and a Pot-Limit Omaha Venom, with $10,000,000 guaranteed between the two.
The two events will run in tandem and each offers five Day 1 starting flights to choose from starting on Sunday, August 4 with Day 2 action kicking off Monday, August 19. Each will feature an entry fee of $2,650.
The Mystery Bounty Venom
The inaugural Mystery Bounty Venom boasts an $8,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
With multiple Day 1s available, players can take part in multiple flights to accumulate chips for Day 2 when the bounties come into play. With every knockout guaranteeing at minimum $5,000 — up to $500,000 — taking a big stack allows for the opportunity to win big with a deep run or a lucky bounty pull.
The PLO Venom
The first Pot-Limit Omaha Venom is being billed as ACR Poker's biggest ever PLO tournament, and has $2,000,000 GTD.
One skilled and fortunate winner take home an estimated top prize of $400,000 to cement themselves in Venom history. The PLO Venom, like the Mystery Bounty, allows players to partake in multiple Day 1 flights to build up as big a stack as they can for Day 2.
Gotta get through Moneymaker
In May, ACR Poker Pro Chris Moneymaker made a deep run that resulted in a final table finish for $382,007 in the biggest-ever Venom to date. Moneymaker outlasted the overwhelming majority of the 5,045-entrant field, but couldn't catch the right cards to add another installment to his own legend.

There are 900 Mystery Bounty Venom seats guaranteed through a variety of paths, including The Beast, Venom Madness, and Mega satellites. For the PLO Venom, 100 seats are up for grabs via direct satellites.
