ACR Poker has confirmed three new Team Pro ambassadors: Chris 'Big Huni' Hunichen, Alex Foxen, and Chance Kornuth.
We exclusively revealed Foxen's signing last week after ACR had hinted at him joining the roster in a string of social media posts from ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy.
Foxen alone represented a major coup for ACR. Add Hunichen and Kornuth, and the site has landed three of the biggest names in tournament poker.
They join an already-impressive team that includes Chris Moneymaker, Chris Moorman, Rob Kuhn, Katie Lindsay, Jeff 'Boski' Sluzinski, Michael Loncar, Monika Zukowicz, Ana Marquez, and Drew Gonzalez.
In the wake of the site's announcement, Foxen took to social media to share his excitement.
"It is an operation that I truly believe prioritizes fair games and a fun player experience," he wrote. "I am a natural skeptic, and I started off with doubts, but as I have gotten to know [Phil Nagy] and others in the operation, and to see the HQ in person, I've only gotten more confident that ACR wants what is best for poker online and generally. I hope that I can help to make this site an even better place to play."
Three big names
As regular competitors at the highest stakes, the three new signings bring an enhanced level of firepower to the site's roster.
Combined, the trio boasts more than $96 million in live tournament earnings and eight WSOP bracelets.
In addition, Foxen regularly plays the nosebleed stakes on the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series and the PokerGO Tour. Kornuth and Hunichen are also regulars at the WSOP and on the World Poker Tour (WPT).
In April, Hunichen notched a podium finish in the WSOP Europe Main Event – finishing third for €800,000.
It's not the first time that Kornuth and Foxen have worked together in a professional capacity.
As a coach for Kornuth's Chip Leader Coaching, Foxen has represented the brand to great effect. If you're trying to grow a coaching business, having a dominant force like Foxen in your corner goes a long way.
In a recent episode of the Chip Leader Coaching podcast, the two shared details on how they met and the origins of their partnership in poker.
Now they've got a new chapter to add to the story.
