ACR Poker has announced the debut of its Survivor Flips format – an innovative, fast-paced game with the intention of bringing even more fun and excitement to traditional tournament play.

In celebration of the format's launch, ACR Poker will offer players the opportunity to explore the new game and flip their way into a $500K GTD Survivor Flips event on Wednesday, February 5.

The format follows a simple path – similar to a standard Flip & Go format. Play starts with Phase 1 when eight players have registered and each player gets dealt three hole cards, with twenty seconds allotted to discard one. From there, the flop, turn, and river are dealt and the player with the weakest hand is eliminated from the table. In the event of a tie, multiple players can be eliminated in a single hand and the process repeats itself until a single winner remains who moves on to Phase 2.

Phase 2 participants start in the money and with equal stacks to play out a standard NLH tournament. Players cannot buy directly into Phase 2 as the only path to qualify runs through Phase 1 events.

Phase 1 starts February 5

The $500K GTD Survivor Flips tournament begins with Phase 1 flights starting February 5 and players can enter Step Satellites starting at just $4 or buy-in directly for $230. With both Step Satellites and Phase 1 flights running 24/7, you can take your shot at survival whenever convenient.

Phase 2 of the Survivor Flips tournament will commence February 23 at 2:05pm ET and remaining participants will play down to a winner in a standard NLH format, each competing for their share of the $500K prize pool.

“Survivor Flips are fast, intense, and just plain fun—perfect for those looking for quick results and big rewards,” said ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker. “Players can fast-forward their way into the money and qualify for major tournaments faster than ever before.”

“I had so much fun being part of the testing group for Survivor Flips. Being able to be deep in a tournament after only a few minutes of play is a rare opportunity in poker. This is perfect for those looking for a quicker format,” added ACR Pro Katie Lindsay
