Rob Yong ended up mucking the winning hand in a huge pot on Hustler Casino Live last night, in the strangest way possible. You can watch the hand in full above, but here are the cliffnotes.
On the board, HCL co-founder Ryan Feldman moved all-in with and Rob Yong deliberated before making the call with .
Feldman flipped his cards, and Yong said, "Yeah, I'm dead," before checking his cards again and throwing them towards the muck. The pot was $191,800.
As it was a stream, Yong was asked to turn his cards over, and he did, saying, "I can't win."
Yong plays it straight and refuses pot
But he could if a queen dropped on the river and Feldman said, "I'm going to lose this for sure."
"Listen guys, I mucked my cards," Yong insisted.
Feldman tried to argue, but Yong insisted he wouldn't take the money, whatever happened.
The river casued uproar. "Oh my god, are you f*****g kidding me?" Feldman said. But despite telling Yong he could take the pot and then asking him to at least keep his $50K river bet, the chips were sent to Feldman.
Yong explained the only reason they even saw the river is that the game was on a stream.
Have you seen a hand like this before, and should Yong have taken the pot as the hands were eventually tabled? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
