The Asian Poker Tour will be back in South Korea next month for 96 events from August 1-10 at Paradise City Casino in Incheon. Three marquee events headline the jam-packed schedule, culminating in the APT Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of over KRW 1.5 billion (~ USD $1M).
Two other marquee events, the APT Super High Roller and the APT High Roller, will each award a ticket to the TWD 165 Million (USD $5M) APT Championship Main Event later this year.
Three marquee events
The APT Main Event will kick off on August 3 with four opening flights featured through August 5. Surviving players will meet up on August 6 and play down to the final day on August 9. Incheon's previous event in 2023 drew 930 runners for a prize pool just over $1.4 million. Shoichiro Tamaki won it for around $205K.
On each end of the Main Event are the two marquee high rollers. The APT Super High Roller will feature a KRW 15 million (~ USD $10,750) buy-in on August 2 with a ~$350K guarantee and the High Roller will kick off on August 9 with a KRW 5 million (~ USD $3,600) buy-in.
The Incheon stop will also feature seven women's events, with a $500 Main Event on August 4.
