The World Series of Poker Circuit will be back in Charm City to spend the break of fall at Horseshoe Baltimore from October 2–13.

The event will feature 18 rings and a $1,700 Main Event with a $500K guarantee, and a return to the scene where Maurice Hawkins won his 18th ring in controversial fashion in the previous Baltimore Main Event.

That Main Event drew 486 entries, handing a top prize of $140K to Hawkins in just over five hours on the final day. The win moved Hawkins into a tie with Ari Engel at the time, a deadlock that has since been broken.

Six-figure guarantees both weekends

The party starts on Thursday, October 2 with the $400 Double Stack Opener, a one-day event. Opening weekend will also spread four flights of the $400 $100K from Thursday through Saturday, setting up survivors for a Day 2 return on Sunday.

Other preliminary events include the $400 Seniors Event with a $50K guarantee on Oct. 5, a $600 PLO with a $25K guarantee on Oct. 6, and three flights of a $400 Monster Stack from Oct 6–7, all playing for a $100K guarantee.

The $1,700 Main Event starts on Thursday, Oct. 9 with the first of three opening flights and a $500K guarantee. Each will run at 11 am and the returning players will play their Day 2 on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Main Event final table will sit down on Monday.

Unlucky souls without a seat in the Main Event endgame can play other closing events, like the $400 40/40/40 on Oct. 12 and the $400 Double Stack One-Day event on the final day of the series. See the full schedule for rundown of every event.
