The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) has only just drawn to a close, but already the site has announced details for its next big online tournament series.
Jet Set Season – a month-long series made up of tournaments, poker-based challenges, and exclusive prizes – kicks off June 8 and runs through July 7. With buy-ins ranging from $3.30 to $1,050, Jet Set Season will cater to players of all bankroll sizes.
There are several key events highlighting the Jet Set Season schedule:
- $75 Jet Set Check-in – June 8, 1:05 ET ($500K GTD)
- $109 Sunday Million Phased Event – Phase 1s running June 8-15 ($1M GTD)
- Super Sunday: $11 PKO, $109 Mystery Bounty, $1,050 NLHE – June 22, 1:05 ET
- $75 Jet Set Cruise – June 29, 1:05 ET ($500K GTD)
- $109 Jet Set Season Finale – July 6, 1:05 ET ($1M GTD)
- Monday Mystery episodes – weekly at 1:05 ET with different mystery bounty formats each Monday
- Bounty Bonanza Day – July 5
Jet Set Challenge takes players global
The Jet Set Challenge provides you with a poker-based challenge to collect prize chests – containing special in-game throwables or a $109 Sunday Million ticket – and a chance to virtually travel across four continents. In order to collect one of the chests, players will need to earn Jet Set miles to reach 20 global landmarks.
Each Jet Set Season event played earns 200 miles, with bonus miles earned for completing challenges. If you complete one of the four continent's row of challenges, you earn a ticket into the corresponding All In Shoot Out on July 7 – with over $300K in tournament tickets up for grabs.
The All in Shoot Outs (AISO) will award the following prize pools:
- $30,000 for the Asia AISO
- $60,225 for the Europe AISO
- $101,500 for the Americas AISO
- $125,300 for the Africa AISO
Jet Set Rush
If you're looking for an added thrill to compliment the tournament schedule, Jet Set Rush runs from June 9-29 and you can opt in through the Challenges Window in the PokerStars client.
Jet Set Rush consists of 16 challenges – represented by a grid divided into four reels – with prizes for completing each of the four sets. The rewards include Free Spins, Instant Bonuses, or cash. Complete all 16 challenges in sequential order to unlock the Jet Set Rush Vault with a guaranteed cash prize.
