Michael Mizrachi is now a member of the Poker Hall of Fame after the WSOP spontaneously bestowed the honor following his victory in the WSOP Main Event.

He's the second honoree of the summer following Nick Schulman's election during the annual nomination process. Mizrachi's ascension to the hall arrives in the wake of an incredible summer where he won both the Poker Player's Championship and the WSOP Main Event.

"We have one more thing to do," Jack Effel said before bringing up a few surprise guests during Mizrachi's bracelet ceremony

Several Poker Hall of Famers joined the champ on stage, including Phil Ivey, Brian Rast, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny 'World' Hennigan, Jen Harmon, Mori Eskandani, and Eli Elezra, to welcome Mizrachi to their ranks.

"What you've done is phenomenal," Hellmuth said. "This is a f***ing battlefield promotion. Winning the Main, winning the PPC, and now the Hall of Fame."

The newly crowned eight-time bracelet winner now becomes the 65th member of the Poker Hall of Fame and the first to be selected in such a manner.
