"I would probably take myself over Shaun in a summer and I'd probably bet like two million dollars on it," Bleznick says.
Deeb's relentless pursuit of cashes and deep runs at the WSOP is well established. His commitment to playing nearly every event on the summer schedule would make him an incredibly tough opponent in a bet of this nature.
In a bid to retain his title as WSOP Player of the Year, Deeb played a full schedule of events this year, firing more than 120 bullets across the series.
Despite this, Bleznick backs himself – but he doesn't want to bet directly against Deeb's money. Rather, he wants to prove that he can compete with and outscore one of the game's ultimate grinders.
"I wouldn't bet against Shaun's money," he continues. "I want to do it against 20 people with $100K. I don't want to compete with Shaun for that much money."
And he believes he could find the action.
"Listen, I'll be able to get the action," he says. "It's just I don't have the time to do it. But there's going to be a point in time where like it's going to happen."
Shaun Deeb has a well-earned reputation as one of the World Series of Poker's ultimate grinders.

For Bleznick, the money would provide the motivation to commit to the kind of schedule that has made Deeb such a formidable WSOP competitor.
"I'd have to bet at least $2 million for a summer to actually like really try it and do it," he says.
'I'll bet on myself'
Bleznick's confidence in the spot likely stems in part from his past success with point-based prop bets against Deeb – including a $1 million wager that he discusses earlier in the podcast.
In 2024, after Bleznick went unselected in the $25K WSOP Fantasy draft, the two made a bet – with Bleznick backing himself to outscore ten players handpicked by Deeb.
"I just wanted to prove a point," Bleznick explains. "I said I'll bet on myself and you can take like ten people, on most fantasy points, against me."
Bleznick went on to put up 11 cashes over the series, including his first WSOP bracelet in the $50,000 No Limit Hold'em High Roller. Despite playing only a fraction of the schedule, he outscored nine of Deeb's picks.
"We bet a million dollars and I ended up beating everyone besides one person. He took Chance [Kornuth] and Chance had that big summer."
Bleznick now has his sights set on the ultimate test: a full summer going head-to-head with Deeb himself.
