Brazilian card shark Yuri Dzivielevski is in top form at the PokerGO Studio this week after two deep runs that yielded his first PGT title and a runner-up finish in back-to-back afternoons.

PokerGO's world class studio has been the home of the PGT Mixed Game series for more than a week with seven tournaments on a slate that leads right into the mixed games edition of the $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl. The series has already delivered wins to a roster of mixed-game regulars like Chino Rheem, Justin Liberto, Ryan Hoenig, and Nick Schulman, but Dzivielevski's dominance comes just as the buy-ins increase on the tail end of the schedule.

The five-time WSOP bracelet winner finally broke through in Event #5, a $15,200 Big Bet Mix that drew 53 entries. It was Dzivielevski's first PGT title on 29 career cashes and 14 final tables, six of which ended in a top-three finish.

They played the first chunk of the tournament on Saturday before the studio's usual Sunday off day. A group of five players returned, including Sam Soverel, Matthew Wantman, Patrick Leonard, and Talal Shakerchi. Dzivielevski held of Leonard in heads-up play after a long battle created with a PLO Hi-Lo hand that gave the Brazlian a Broadway straight to finish the job.

Can't get enough

Ever the high-stakes grinder, Dzivielevski jumped right into Event #6 and ran up a stack against 57 entries in the $15,800 Dealer's Choice. Dzivielevski was the chip leader by the time a final group of seven bagged up for the night, and he would return on Tuesday to contend with Chad Eveslage, Bryn Kenney, John Monnette, Qinghai Pan, and Dylan Weisman

Pan stole the lead early and held onto it as Weisman, Monnette, Becker, Kenney, and Eveslage broke for the door in order. Dzivielevski was left at the end with a 10-to-1 chip disadvantage, but not even Yuri could overcome those odds.
