The PokerGO Tour (PGT) is Brock Wilson's world and everyone else is just living in it

In the last six weeks, Wilson has risen above the field in PGT events on four separate occasions. During the PokerGO Cup in March, Wilson notched four cashes across the series, including two outright victories – earning himself the overall series title in the process. Now, with the US Poker Open (USPO) in full swing, Wilson continues to dominate the highly competitive fields.

With four events left on the series schedule, Wilson has already matched his results at the PokerGO Cup and stands poised to claim the USPO Golden Eagle trophy. If he were to do so, Wilson would become only the second player in PGT history to win back-to-back no-limit hold'em series titles after Sean Winter did so in 2022.

Schulman does the heavy lifting

After starting the USPO strong with a win in Event #1, Wilson went on to make the final table in Event #4 – finishing in fourth place – before following up with a ninth-place cash in Event #5.

And then came Event #6. Wilson entered the final day of play atop the chip counts, leading over Nick Schulman, Jeremy Becker, Clemen Deng, and Justin Vaysman

Vaysman bowed out early when his fell to Schulman's . The flop saw the chips fly into the middle and the turn left Vaysman with no outs to the winner. Schulman notched a second elimination when his held in an all-in confrontation against Deng's on a runout.

With three players remaining, Becker was the clear short stack – but that didn't stop him from taking a big swing at Schulman. Unfortunately for the young upstart, Schulman swung back harder

Check out the video below to watch this one unfold, it's well worth it.

With Becker handled, Schulman took a sizable chip lead into heads-up play against Wilson. The two battled for the better part of two hours – trading the chip lead back and forth several times.

When they collided for the final time, Wilson had the best of it and Schulman couldn't get away from his hand. Alongside the $224,000 first-place prize, Wilson added 224 PGT Points to his USPO tally – bringing him well clear of the pack in the hunt for the coveted Golden Eagle series trophy.
