Robbie Strazynski and Cardplayer Lifestyle will be returning to Las Vegas in late November to put on Mixed Game Festival VI, a five-day gathering for mixed-games enthusiasts. The festival, which will run November 26-30 at Resorts World Las Vegas, focuses primarily on cash-game action but occasionally mixes it up with a tourney or two as well. The festival, now offered two or three times per year, returns after its last edition was held in July.
That's what's in store for this sixth edition of the Mixed Game Festival, with two tourneys added into the five days of action at Resorts World LV. On Monday, November 27, the second day of the series, a $260 Omaha 8/Stud 8 tourney will be offered. On Thursday, November 30, the festival's final day, a $260 H.O.R.S.E. tourney will help wrap up the festivities. Structure sheets for both events are available via the Cardplayer Lifestyle landing page for the festival.
“Resorts World Poker Room is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to the Cardplayer Lifestyle’s Mixed Game Festival once more. Join our first-class dealers for an engaging week filled with social interaction and exhilarating mixed game poker. As part of the festivities, we’re proud to present both O8/Stud8 and H.O.R.S.E. tournaments for your enjoyment,” said Resorts World Las Vegas's Director of Poker Operations, Leon Wheeler.
$5K WPT Voyage prize package to be won
The festival-ending H.O.R.S.E. tourney offers a special bonus, in the form of a WPT Voyage Prize Package that will go to the winner of the tourney. The package is valued at over $5,000 and will include the following:
- 7-day Caribbean cruise for two in a Limited View Sea Terrace cabin
- One $1,100 buy-in to the WPT Prime tournament held during the cruise
- Package includes WiFi, food, essential drinks, and gratuities
(Note: Transportation to and from Miami, where the WPT Voyage cruise begins and ends, is the winner's responsibility.)
The WPT Voyage will take place aboard Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady from March 31-April 6, 2024.
As with previous Mixed Game Festivals, the gathering will include numerous giveaways and events. Besides the two scheduled tournaments, notable offerings include the opening-day pizza party, a Day 3 poker trivia contest, and on Day 4, a signing session featuring Lexy Gavin-Mather, whose new book, Mastering Small Stakes No Limit Hold’em Tournaments, will be available. More information on these and other happenings can be found at the landing page.
